I was born in 1939 in a town called Buckie in the North east corner of Scotland. We moved around a lot but now I'm settled in Keith in the North east of Scotland. I started my music career in my teens playing guitar and tea chest Bass in a local Skiffle group. (You'll remember these Huh?) When I was 19 I joined the forces for 6 years I was in the army in the Gordon Highlanders and came out in 1965 I got a job with our local coach company as a driver and been that till I retired. I turned a professional entertainer in 1970 working 7 nights a week but these days are all gone now and I am just doing odd gigs here and there just to keep my hand in. I have recorded 2 LP's, 3 cassettes, and 1 single in my time. I am married with 5 children, 9 Grand children and last month I became a great grandfather for the first time.
